Join us on a journey of discovery as we delve into the life and spirituality of Mary Pyle whose Cause for Canonization is in the initial phases. In their first encounter, Padre Pio placed his wounded hands on the head of Mary Pyle and said, “My daughter, do not travel anymore. Stay here.” And that is what she did! During her forty-five years in San Giovanni Rotondo, she became a member of the Third Order of Saint Francis, financed the building of a new church in Pietrelcina along with a much-needed friary and seminary for the Capuchins, and cared for the parents of Padre Pio in her own home.

Following this presentation, our guest speaker, Susan De Bartoli, will be available for a “Meet and Greet.” Her book, Welcoming the Christ Child with Padre Pio, will be available for purchase and book signing – just in time for Advent.
