Palm Sunday

Palm Sunday

Date/Time
Date(s) - Apr 10, 2022
All Day

In Jesus’ time, palm branches were used during prayers of praise. The waving branches symbolized victory. Jesus’ followers held palm branches during His triumphant entry into Jerusalem before His Passion and Death. Palms are blessed at the beginning of the Palm Sunday Liturgy. The ashes crossed on our forehead on Ash Wednesday come from burned palms. Don’t forget to pick up your blessed mini palm cross in the Spirituality Centre on Palm Sunday (while supplies last).

ATTENTION VISITORS:
Barto Road is OPEN to our driveway. We’ve been made aware that GPS systems are redirecting drivers, as they are labeling Barto Road as CLOSED, but our driveway remains fully accessible to visitors.
You must turn onto Barto Road from “new” PA Route 100 at the traffic light. If you enter onto Barto Road from Old Route 100, you will not be able to make it as far as us and will be forced to turn around.
We apologize for the inconvenience.
