On this Memorial of Saint Augustine, let’s celebrate Pope Leo XIV as the first American pope from the United States and the first Augustinian to be elected pope. We will view the documentary on Saint Augustine that recounts the conversion story of one of the most influential figures in Church history. In doing so, we will recognize how the core foundational values of Augustinians – truth, unity, and love – will shape the present papacy.
