Anniversary of the Canonization of Padre Pio

Anniversary of the Canonization of Padre Pio

Date/Time
Date(s) - Jun 16, 2021
9:30 am - 2:00 pm

What better way to commemorate the canonization of Saint Pio of Pietrelcina than to rededicate yourself to Christ’s Real Presence in the Holy Eucharist? The Catechism of the Catholic Church teaches us that Jesus is present to us in many ways, but only in the Holy Eucharist is he uniquely and substantially present – Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity (CCC 1373-1374). There is no cost for this day of spiritual renewal; however, a free will offering will be taken up to support the mission of the National Centre for Padre Pio. Participants are encouraged to pack a lunch and extend the celebration by enjoying the grounds, museum, and gift shop. Click HERE to reserve your spot; there is no cost to attend, but attendance is limited.
In honor of the 60th Anniversary of the founding of the Diocese of Allentown by Pope Saint John XXIII in 1961, free booklets of the Stations of the Cross according to Pope John XXIII will be our gift to you while supplies last.
