Feast of SS. Simon & Jude

Feast of SS. Simon & Jude

Date/Time
Date(s) - Oct 28, 2026
10:30 am - 12:00 pm

Saints Simon and Jude are both mentioned in the Roman Canon. Simon, called the “Canaanite” and the “Zealot” most likely preached in Egypt and Persia. Jude or Thaddeus, meaning “courageous” preached in Palestine and Persia. Jude is the patron saint of those in despair or in hopeless situations (perhaps because of the similarity of his name with that of Judas Iscariot who betrayed Jesus and despaired).
