Join us for a special presentation on Blessed Miriam Teresa, known as the “American Therese.” She enjoyed simple, everyday things including shopping, seeing shows, and visiting museums.  She entered the Sisters of Charity of Saint Elizabeth and wrote a series of reflections about growth in holiness posthumously published under the title “Greater Perfection.”  Before her death at the age of 26, she was granted special permission to profess final vows. She was beatified in 2014 – the first person to be beatified in the United States.  Veneration of the Relics of Padre Pio and Blessed Miriam Teresa will follow the presentation.  Items relating to Blessed Miriam will be available for purchase in the narthex.
