Saint Anthony of Padua, known as the “Evangelical Doctor” is the patron saint of Portugal, of the poor, and of lost articles.  He was a gifted orator and preacher and the first Franciscan friar to teach theology to his fellow friars. In his honor, a statue of Saint Anthony along with his bone relic will be on display all day for veneration. After the 10:30 Mass, those present will be blessed with Saint Anthony’s relic with distribution of Saint Anthony’s blessed bread!
